The classic sale cloth strap is the one that started it all. Though not as pliable as the HydroFlex straps, once you wear it on the wrist for 5 to 10 minutes, it warms up and conforms to your wrist. At that point, I can wear it all day.

I’ve bought several cheap straps because I thought a strap was a strap. If I had bought this straight outta the gate, I wouldn’t have $150 worth of junk straps in my drawer that’ll never see the light of day again. This is my second Classic and I’ll buy more soon. I bought the Hydroflex and loved it so much that I decided to get the Classic as well. This strap is also fantastic. It feels a bit stiffer than the Hydroflex, but the fit is excellent and it looks very premium.

I have owned several sail cloth straps mainly in the lower priced range. I was excited to try Artem yet unfortunately, Artem did not live up to their marketing. Within one to two weeks, my strap had already stretched and looked worn in, notably where the holes receive the pin buckle. The quality is slightly better than my much lower budget options I have purchased from Amazon for around 16- 25 dollars.
When paying this amount for this type of product, I was expecting better quality with a tangible difference in feel and wearing experience. I really wanted to like this strap, but ultimately it failed to deliver.
