This is a beautifully made stainless steel deployant clasp and performs well for its intended purpose. The problem is that the finishing is pretty sharp so it’s already removed some of the finish from the new leather strap. The tooling and finishing may work well for nylon, but when using with leather straps, the sharpness of the corners are already damaging the leather after four wears.
Artem Straps1 month agoThank you for the thoughtful review. Our Loop-less™ deployant clasp is designed to protect the strap when set up using the correct adjustment method. Each clasp ships with a card containing a QR code that demonstrates the proper way to set the strap hole position so the leather isn’t placed under unnecessary edge pressure. When adjusted as shown, the clasp will not mark or damage the strap, even with regular wear.
