Why is it more expensive than other fabric straps?
Because it isn’t just another fabric strap.
Our Classic Standard strap features an intricate embossed sailcloth texture, a padded profile, and high quality hardware designed to feel substantial on the wrist. It is our own design (one that many have tried to copy) rather than a generic, rebranded Ali Baba strap.

Is it comfortable, or will it feel stiff?

The Classic Standard strap can handle sweat and occasional exposure to water without issue. However, it is not designed for prolonged or repeated immersion.

Well made strap but… getting the right size on 3 different watches (okay, 2 because the Ranger and BB58 are identical) is impossible. I have 17.2 cm or 6.77” wrist. It could be the nicest strap in the world but if it doesn’t fit, quality don’t mean s….
It sucks because the buckle is actually nice. This is the only time I received a brushed buckle with an aftermarket strap. I’m currently waiting on a micro adjust buckle to try to save my interest in the strap.
It’s too bad they’re so pricey. If this happened with a strap that $100 CAD or less it wouldn’t hurt as much.
